The photographer will be in school next Wednesday 17th May to take individual and family photographs.
In light of these arrangements, we would appreciate it if you could ensure that your child is in full uniform on this day.
Don't forget that children can come to school wearing red, white and blue this Friday to celebrate the King's Coronation.
We were delighted when asked by our local community coffee morning if they could use our school as their new home.
This is open to anyone in the community and is independent from school. We are thrilled to be able to support our community!

Next Friday 5th May we will celebrate the King's Coronation with a party lunch. If your child usually has a packed lunch and would like a party lunch on this day, please let the office know.

Members of the NEU have now informed us of their decisions regarding the next strike days. Having assessed the situation, school will be open for YEAR 6 pupils only.
Meal provision will be arranged for those children who are eligible for benefit related free school meals.
To be eligible for benefit related free school meals, you must have applied to the local authority – if your child is in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and you are unsure if they are eligible, please collect an application from the school office or apply using the following link: Free school meals, pupil premium, and EYPP (wigan.gov.uk)
Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day is being celebrated around the world on Monday 3rd April!
They'll be giving away free ice cream at a host of locations 12pm-8pm, including Empire Cinema Robin Park (you don't need to see a film).

Our Easter Egg raffle is back! There are some amazing Easter treats up for grabs such as the hamper below. Tickets will be available to purchase from Monday (20p per ticket / £1 per strip). The winners will be drawn next Friday.
We also have our Easter Bonnet / Easter Egg Scene competition! Bring your entries into school next Friday morning, they will be placed in the school hall and winners will be picked by our panel of judges. Good luck everyone!!

Children taking part in Bikeability should bring their bikes to school on Wednesday morning to be serviced.
If your child is entitled to benefit related free school meals, you should by now have received an email with your HAF voucher/s. If you have not received your voucher/s, please contact the school office to check your details are correct.
Places are limited so you may want to pre book your activities as soon as possible.

Starting this Friday 3rd March, school will run a Credit Union from 8:15am in the school hall. This will continue every Friday.
The Credit Union is open to all children and family members, accounts can be opened with a deposit of £1. Applications to open an account are available at school, at least 1 form of ID is required for the named account holder.
