Statement of Intent
The intent of our History curriculum is to deliver a curriculum that is accessible to all, offering opportunities for discovery and enquiry. History at Beech Hill gives children the opportunity to access a wide range of resources and enables children to develop a deep understanding of the rich history of our local area. We fulfil the national curriculum requirements for History providing a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum that encompasses the British Values throughout; ensuring the progressive development of historical concepts, knowledge and skills; and for the children to study life in the past.
