Class Information
Miss Ashurst, the reception class teacher, would like to welcome you to our class page which is a window into daily life in reception. In reception we are very lucky to be supported by Miss Sudell and Mrs Bainbridge and we work very closely with the rest of the Early Years Team in nursery. If you have any questions or concerns about anything in reception please do not hesitate to speak to any member of staff.
We are always very busy in reception and love to share our learning with you so don't forget to sign up to our Twitter feed @BHCohort2930 to keep up to date with all our news.
It is really important that children bring their reading bags to school on Mondays and Fridays so that they can bring home a reading book and a picture book to share with you at home each week. Please try to share your child's reading book for a few minutes every day and make a comment in their journal so that we know how they are getting on at home.
Wednesday is the day that reception have their P.E. session. Don't forget all children need their P.E. kit in school every day which consists of a white t-shirt, blue shorts and black P.E. pumps. We will send it home to be washed at the end of each half term. Please ensure earrings are removed for P.E. and long hair is tied back with a bobble.
