Who are We?
Springfield, Beech Hill and Gidlow CommUnity is a community association that covers the ward of Wigan West.
We're made up of the people who live here; local groups and associations and community minded businesses and local organisations.
We work together to make Springfield, Beech Hill and Gidlow the best it can be, now, and, in the future.
We do this by connecting people, having fun together and making the best use of parks, spaces and buildings.
This website provides information about what’s on in the area; shares local good news stories; offers ways of getting involved in local decision making and keeps a memory record we became a more connected and stronger community.
Northern Heart and Soul is a community group founded by two local residents, Gill and Angela. With a strong community focus, the aim of is to develop stronger links between local people which will provide support, fun and information for all of us.
Everybody is welcome to attend the Well Good Socials at the Wellfield on Thursday mornings - pop down and have a brew.
