Religious Education
Statement of Intent
It is our intent that the Religious Education element of our school curriculum engages, inspires, challenges and encourages children to ask questions and explore different religious beliefs, values and traditions. We want our children to develop a more rigorous understanding of the numerous religious traditions, beliefs and practices that are followed in our multi-cultural society. We believe RE will support children and young people in developing their own beliefs, values and attitudes through an exploration of shared human experience and other religions in the contemporary world.
We teach Religious Education in school to help children become more tolerant and accepting of all people aiming to enhance our tolerant Beech Hill community.
