Class Information

Mrs Halliwell, the reception class teacher, would like to welcome you to our class page which is a window into daily life in reception. In reception we are very lucky to be supported by Miss Pennington and Miss Sudell and we work very closely with the rest of the Early Years Team in nursery. If you have any questions or concerns about anything in reception please do not hesitate to speak to any member of staff.

We are always very busy in reception and love to share our learning with you so don't forget to sign up to our Twitter feed @BHCohort2627 to keep up to date with all our news.

It is really important that children always bring their reading bags to school because teachers read with children every day. Please try to share your child's reading book daily and make a comment in their journal so that we know how they are getting on at home..

Wednesday is the day that Wigan Warriors come in to deliver our P.E. session. Don't forget all children need their P.E. kit in school every day which consists of a white t-shirt, blue shorts and black P.E. pumps. We will send it home to be washed at the end of each half term. Please ensure earrings are removed for P.E. and long hair is tied back with a bobble.

If there is anything else you would like to be included on the reception class page please do not hesitate to ask.

Don't forget to log onto Reading Eggs and Mathletics, the log in details are stuck in the front of your child's reading record. These programmes are a fun way to work on your maths, reading and spelling skills.  Click the link below to access the log in page.
